Sweet Peas have arrived!!!!!

Wow!! These stamps are amazing and I cant wait to have a play with them. I ordered them along with some new nesties for my birthday pressie off my husband. It's not til sunday but I am just gonna have to have a play with them this afternoon. Postman only came half hour ago Very late today but I think i will have to forgive him just this once. I love this Domestic Diva Digi stamp from Sassy Studio Designs. It has been coloured with copic markers and the edges distressed with a sponge and some green ink & some Tim Holtz ink antique linen. Matted and layered then covered with a self adhesive laminating pouch. Paper is papermania 12x12 Spring burst. Ribbon and sliders from my stash. Stamped hearts on the bottom of the pages.
I made this for my daughter but when I finished it I didn't really want to give it to her.

With my birthday fast approaching I have ordered myself some new sweet pea stamps and some new Nestabilities. I spend all morning looking for the postie and won't go out til he has been. Can't believe another year has gone!!

The pink and red colour combo is also from their weekly challenge I found it difficult at first but loved the result so had to use it again on this card.

I followed the fab!!! tutorial by Rachel Jakes on the WOJ tutorial blog HERE for the gift/ pocket card. My daughter is having surgery in the summer and as soon as I saw this tutorial I knew I had to have a go. So I am planning on keeping it for her though the contents will change a little by then I will keep the hand gel and the lip Baslm in but replace the tissues with something else.

Papers are papermania Regency.Used a punch for the scalloped edges and leaves. Sentinent stamps are from personal impressions and used my oval nesties and new scalloped nesties. Polka dot ribbon from American crafts.
