My neighbour is always bringing envelopes home from work as they have a card section and all the spares just end up in the bin. I must have hundreds. Anyway I am always struggling for red papers so I put the envelopes to good use and made my own backing paper.
I took a red envelope stamped with papermania chatsworth vintage collection clear stamps and stayzon. Inked over the top with red ink to make it darker. Tore the edges and distressed with Tim Holtz ink Weathered wood. I was really pleased with the outcome.
